The name of the course that I teach is called F.S.T. (Functions, Statistics and Trigonometry).
FST is a math course designed for the college bound student who would like another year of math following Algebra 2 and prior to enrolling in Pre-Calculus. The order of instruction is actually Functions, Trigonometry and then Statistics. The topics covered include algebraic concepts such as functions, polynomials, systems of equations and inequalities, logarithms, matrices, sequences and series. The trigonometry portion of the course covers right and oblique triangles, the unit circle, graphs of trigonometric functions, and identities. The statistics portion of the course includes measures of central tendency, standard deviation, normal curves and probability.
