Miss Fisher

Welcome back to the 2009-2010 school year!

Students and Parents:

I am looking forward to working with you throughout this school year as we turn math into an achievable challenge rather than an impossible burden!  Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.   It is now being UPDATED DAILY as a means of communication outside of the school setting.  I want to point out the key features for you to check out:

*The weekly calendar is updated, so please utilize this link to get a class summary, find out the daily practice assignment, and read any announcements about upcoming / assigned projects and/or assessments.

*The files page has important documents linked such as the course syllabus and the handout that was available at Open House with information pertinent to parents.

*The links page has a link to the Holt Website, the textbook website (for Fundamentals only).  This is an excellent resource with the entire textbook online as well as interactive mini-lessons, practice quizzes for every section, and numerous other additional practice opportunities.

REMINDER:  Daily help sessions are BEFORE SCHOOL at 6:45 - 7:15 in room C-204

AFTER SCHOOL help sessions are on Wednesdays 2:30 - 3:30 in room A-206

Other help is available by appointment - students need to check with me first.  '

Please continue to check for other links as I will be adding to my website throughout the year.  Feel free to contact me with any comments and/or suggestions - use the email link at the bottom of this page.  In closing I would like to encourage you to continue to approach Geometry with an open mind and a positive attitude.  If you put in 100% effort, there is no doubt in my mind that you will be successful and we will have a great year!  Thank you for a great start to the 2009-2010 school year!
